The dirt that produces the food people eat is in danger. The spread of cities onto fertile land and poor farming techniques are making for unhealthy soil worldwide. Scientists at Colorado State University are leading an international effort to help. Diana Wall directs CSU’s School of Global Environmental Sustainability.
