Future Earth Launches at Rio +20

Future Earth will be officially launched on June 14th at the Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development co-organised by ICSU.

An outstanding panel of high-level representatives from the scientific, policy, research funding, and business communities will outline and discuss the Vision for Future Earth, the role of this new initiative in providing robust scientific evidence on global environmental change, and supporting policy and action towards global sustainability. The speakers will unveil the next steps for involving researchers and stakeholders in the design and implementation of the initiative.
