Study says first terrestrial animal was a myriapod relative of the millipede

While a myriapod relative has long been hypothesized to be the first officially terrestrial animal, new support is emerging from Scottland where 425 myo Kampecaris obanensis is revealed to be the oldest terrestrial animal (so far..). Check out this issue of Historical Biology
